IISER Coaching Excellence with Delhi Career Group
What is IISER?
A group of autonomous institutes of national importance under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
Focused on science education and cutting-edge research.
Currently, there are 7 IISERs: Pune, Bhopal, Mohali, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Berhampur, and Kolkata.
IISER Aptitude Test (IAT)
Mode: Computer-based test (CBT).
Duration: 3 hours.
Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology.
Questions: 60 (15 from each subject).
Marking Scheme: +3 for correct, –1 for wrong.
Syllabus: Based on NCERT for Classes 11 & 12.
🔹 Eligibility
Must have passed Class 12 (Science stream) with minimum marks (usually 60% for GEN/OBC, 55% for SC/ST/PwD).
Appearing students can also apply.
🔹 Selection Process
Merit list prepared based on IAT score (or other channels if applicable).
Candidates allotted IISER campuses via counselling based on preferences and ranks.
🔹 Programs Offered
BS-MS Dual Degree Program (5 years).
BS Program in Engineering/Sciences in some IISERs.
Integrated PhD & PhD Programs (after BS-MS).
